I am dedicated social worker, with an insatiable hunger of working to meet the inadequacies felt in the fields of : Education, Health, Hygiene, Environment, Sports, Social Welfare and other issues

My services in the field for the past 15 years has proven me to be an enthusiastic worker, sensible contributor and a true peoples representative. My inborn qualities of leadership have brought me closer to the people and has given me an opportunity to understand their problems and extend workable solutions to the maximum extent. I have left no field untouched in my personal capacity, working for the people has fortified my resolve to serve; and the masses in turn, have put their faith on my shoulders, they consider me a “Simple & Selfless Leader”, “The Voice of Belgaum” and their pillar of trust.

My mission is to harness & enhance the energy of such dedicated individuals, help them realize their unfulfilled dreams, thereby helping society, contributing to the welfare and growth of the nation. “I would like to extend all my available resources including me & my family in helping build a truly great nation”.

MY OBJECTIVES

A 24*7 service-oriented social worker with strong commitment and serving the needs of the disadvantaged; like the homeless; and understanding the needs of the specially abled. The underlying theme is to excel in organizational planning; overcome the challenges of limited resources and financial constraints, to design high-quality, cost-effective and comprehensive tailor made services catering to different segments of the population. The emphasis is laid on building skilled community support and key strategic intragency & intragency partnerships.

WORK EXPERIENCE

My work speaks for itself, I have progressed on sheer hardwork, a series of promotions, sponsorships and event management has enhanced my work & reach in the public. I guide & supervise a team of dedicated social workers and also Developed & Maintain strong interlinked alliances with different groups and agencies within & outside pariwar.

POLITICAL DEBUT

• “One can serve the people well through politics”, I believe it is the right platform to be heard and make meaningful contributions. I made My political debut in the year 2013 Assembly Elections in Karnataka; I contested from Belagavi North Assembly Constituency.
• Being Vice President of BJP Belagavi Dist. ( Mahanagar) took up New Voters Registration Drive intensively before Parliamentary Election of 2014.
• Since the year 2013, I have been the face of protests against the ruling Congress Government which has failed on all fronts to provide good governance.
• My big moment came during the General Elections of 2014 where I found myself in the thick of political action; I handled the responsibility given to me by the party for the Belagavi (North) Assembly Constituency and supervise through all election work like Campaigning, Corner Meetings, Rallies, Booth Strengthening, a result Belagavi (North) increased it’s vote share for the BJP; the BJP had a lead of 20,000 votes in North assembly constituency and this added up to the winning margin of Shri. Suresh C. Angadi, who emerged as a hat-trick Memeber of Parliament (MP) and won with a huge margin of 70,000 votes.
• After the resounding victory of the BJP in 2014 elections, there was no time for celebrations. Under the leadership of Rasthreeya Adhyakshajee, Shri. Amit Shah ji, the party went on a country wide membership drive. Shri. Amit Shah ji, gave the slogan of Congress Mukt Bharat (Congress free India)for the Congress party is responsible for all the ills plaguing our great nation Bharat. The BJP leadership did not want to lose the political advantage, and along with the enthusiastic and dedicated party cadre we got into the thick of BJP’s Maha Sampark Abhiyan ( Membership Drive).
• Under the “Sashakt Bhajapa- Sashakt Bharat Abhiyan” a BJP Membership drive, me & my team were instrumental in involvement and enrollment of more than 10,000 new members to BJP family and I personally enrolled more than 500 new members.
• In Maharastra Assembly elections 2014, Solapur South Assembly Constituency led a team of 16 Karyakartas from Belagavi North for 14 days, campaigning in Solapur South, for the BJP candidate Shri. Subhash Deshmukh and ensured victory with a huge margin. He is currently the Cabinet Minister for Sahakar, Panan & Vastrodyog in Government of Maharashtra.
• Inspired around 6,000+ people to take part in a Massive rally against Congress Govt, staged in front of Suvarna Vidhan Soudha at Belagavi in the month of November 2014.
• Have taken active part in completing Maha Sampark Abhhiyan and Digital Abhiyan successfully in Belagavi (North) Assembly Constituency.
• Played huge role to make Virat Hindu Samavesh, a big Success in Belagavi, where in Chief Guest was Shri. Yogi Adityanathji then Member of Parliament from Gorkhapur in March 2015.
• Participated with 2,000+ Karyakartas from Belagavi (North) in Massive Padyatra, from Badal Anklagi to Belagavi (24 KM) along with 50,000+ farmers, Against Congress Govt. In protest against farmers suicides in June 2015.
• In Local Body Karnataka Legislative Council Elections 2015 Belagavi Dist. Worked to secure a win for BJP Candidate, Shri Mahantesh Kavtagimath.
• Led the BJP Belagavi (North) team in Karnataka Legislative Council Election 2016 for Karnataka North-West Graduate’s Constituency to mark a memorable victory for BJP candidate Shri. Hanumant Nirani.
• Led the BJP Belagavi (North) team in Karnataka Legislative Council Election 2016 for Karnatak North-West Constituency to score memorable victory for BJP candidate Shri. Arun Shahapur.
• In February 2016 led the team of Karyakartas to provide Security and Smooth operation of Traffic for the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Campaign inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modiji and encouraged 5,000+ people to be a part of this Programme. Organised “Shradhanjali”, a booth awareness programme  conducted by paying a tribute to Shahid Jawans of Uri terrorist attack at 14 palces in Belagavi North in September 2016 .
• Paid tribute to Indian Soldiers by Celebrating Diwali with them in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Halbhavi Camp and Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre (MLIRC Belagavi) in October 2016.
• Protested for the Ban of PFI & KFD for attacking Hindu Leaders and other anti national activities in November 2016, and was arrested by Belagavi Police.
• Observed Black Day & Dharane Satyagrah at DC office against Celebration of Tippu Jayanti and got arrested in November 2016.
• In Goa Assembly Elections in 2017, led a team of 14 Karyakarta from Belagavi for a 20 day Campaign for the BJP candidate Dr. Pramod Sawant in Sanquelim Assembly Constituency to ensure victory with huge margin. He is currently the Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly.
• Led the BJP team to Celebrate the BJP Foundation day by hoisting the party Flag in 198 places. Padayatra was organised in Belagavi North. The team of Belagavi North BJP Office Bearers comprising of Ward Committee; Booth President & Committee workers; Enthusiastic and dedicated party workers participated in huge numbers and made it a memorable day.(April 2017).
• Have taken active part successfully to complete of Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay Vistarak Karya Yojana in July 2017.
• Actively raised voice against the local issues like Infrastructure, Water, Sanitation, Power, Parking, encroachments, Traffic, Crime etc.
• Am a part of every protest & activities organised by BJP in Belagavi.
• I was very vocal & led a team against the issues of Slaughter Houses, illegal Bangladeshi Residents, illegal Rohingya Residents and have arranged massive protests on these issues.
• Take active part and perfom Swachhata Abhiyan in Regular intervals.
• Tree Plantations is being done on regular intervals.
• I have contributed to build a Strong nexus of people, which has helped in the party’s activities, promotions and social built up. I have effectively worked as a part of a team to strengthen the party’s  image at Wards & Booths, I am very keen on developing cohesive relations with prominent leaders of different communities and general public.

VIMAL FOUNDATION

My contribution to the society is done as a Chairman of a registered NGO VIMAL FOUNDATION. Our NGO undertakes Cultural, Sports, and Social activities throughout the year. Our major welfare thrust is on all round development of the society by making meaningful contributions.

To me “Academic Excellence is one of the vital parameters of our nation’s progress”. Giving top priority to this would solve most of the problems. I have attempted to promote academic excellence among people.

SOCIAL WORK

I have contributed both in cash and kind. Every year we distribute the required study materials to Schools and Colleges. We also help government Schools with Uniform, Books, Laboratory Equipment’s. We also make monetary donations tp private schools in form of Scholarships & Building fund.

Every year 100 school students are adopted and support is provided in order to help them pursue their extra curricular & academic pursuits.

Moentary donations are made to the Blind School; Chikkumbi Math Orphanage.

Household items of daily use and blankets were distributed to the poor, needy and the destitute.

Our aim is to provide education to the deprived and take efforts to set up educational centres of excellence at a location convenient to all. It is our endeavor to support the government in setting up quality educational institutes and create opportunities to educate the socially and economically backward students irrespective of caste and creed. The rural masses cut off from the mainstream society will also be lent a helping hand encouraging them to achieve professional excellence both in public and private spheres.

SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Sports and extra-curricular activity are a part and parcel in the life of every child. Physical activity helps in developing an all round personality and growth of the physical, mental and moral qualities of an individual.

I have taken the lead and initiative in promoting the participation of students and youth at the state & national level events by providing quality infrastructure needed to excel in sports.

The Belgaum Champions league T-20 Tournament has become an annual event in the calendar of the city. Teams from the city and the neighboring talukas of Belagavi district participate in large numbers and have made it a success.

Apart from promoting the game of Cricket, even indoor games are given equal attention.

Events of Marathon, Swimming, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volley Ball, Football, Karate Competitions at State as well as National Level are also organized and aid is given to the participants to help them participate at State and National Level events.

CHARITY AND PROMOTING ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITY

We provide assistance to youth in setting up business with monetary, technical & helping them with their paper work in setting up their business like Saloon, Grocery & Purchase of Auto Rickshaws, Milk Van and setting up News Paper Stalls.

Similarly women are empowered by providing financial air, training in JOC and assisting them to start their own small scale enterprise, individual ladies are encouraged by proving them assistance for the purchase of Sewig Machines, Refrigerator, Home Made things.

Medical check-up camps organised for the vegetable vendors on the streets, so that their and their families health is not neglected.

ORGANISE AND SPONSOR THE FESTIVALS 

I have also conducted programs to felicitate the mothers of the sports persons who have made our city and state proud by participating in National Games, Asian games and Olympics. This signature event was held under the banner of “Rajmata Jijau Puraskar” , and it was solemnised at the hands of renowned social worker Smt. Sindhutai Sapkal.

Every year we felicitate the Ganesh Utsav Mandals & give them a stage and small token of appreciation for keeping the culture and unity of Belgaum by celebrating Ganesh Utsav.

Similarly we also celebrate Shiv Jayanti Utsav, Basveshwar Jayanti, Swami Vivekanand Jayanti, Ambedkar Jayanti, Mahaveer Jayanti and Navratri Vijaydashmi Festival by presenting a memento and sharing a stage with all the yuvak sangh that participate in the procession.

AS A REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER

Following the clarion call of Honorable Prime  Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi Ji, whose mission is to create 100 Smart Cities, develop and beautify them. I have taken it upon myself to see “Our Beautiful Belagavi” transform into a top class city in the country. A nation’s true progress can be gauged by observing the state of our cities. It is my dream to see entire Belagavi city prosper and the people residing in them happy.

One of the basic need of people, Food, Clothing & Shelter, Shelter plays an important role, quality affordable housing is the need of the hour, as a responsible builder I have strived hard to give quality housing at affordable costs that suits the needs, budget and requirement of a customer. I have a high success rate in handling pressure, ” Meeting the time deadlines and delivering projects by date” a motto that I have been diligently following since my arrival in the construction industry. We have a highly motivated and emphatic client service team which has resulted in 100% customers satisfaction in my housing projects.

THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE

The faith and love for people has made me take up many programmes in various fields, I follow a simple and genuine approach towards developmental work and I’m of the firm belief that “India can progress only if proper time and attention is given to rural development”. efforts have to be made to solve the problems plaguing the villages, this in turn will have a dominoes effect on development in the Districts, States and the Nation as whole.

My integrity, commitment dedication and my direct connect to the people has earned me their respect and trust.

I walked my first steps in the field of social service 15 years ago and I’m following the same path even today. My hand an approach to problem solving and my plans for the development of Belagavi was noticed by the good meaning people and because of this quality, a large army of supporters from all walks of society have been my inspiration to move forward.

It was because of their love and trust that forced me to enter politics, the people wanted me to serve them sincerely with the same dedication and selflessness, as they had seen me do my social service to the society, they wanted somebody whom they could trust with their Heart and Soul.

In the early stages I was reluctant to take their advice, but later felt, “If my services were required for the betterment of society and the people, I should obey their commands and should be at their service”.

BELAGAVI AS A SMART CITY 

We Belgaumkar are grateful to Hon’ble Prime Minister of India for giving Belagavi a chance to be promoted and highlighted as a smart City, we have to work collectively, shoulder to shoulder in making the dream of our great leader into a reality. The welfare of the city is the responsibility of each & everyone and cannot be ignored or looked in any other way.

MY SUGGESTIONS FOR BELAGAVI NORTH AND THE ENTIRE CITY

Smart city need smart solutions and smart individuals to make it Smart. The growth of the city has to be  properly streamlined and development work has to continue in an organised manner.

My solutions for a smart city is to involve the poor and the marginalized sections of society, and growth has to be uniform to both the rich and the poor.

There has to be provisions for 24*7 drinking water and underground LPG connections. Clean Public Urinals, Toilets along with proper Sanitation & Health Care facilities for all.

The security of every women has to be the prime focus for that will be truly empower women.

New Schools have to be built with proper infrastructure for extra curricular activities, visual aid education and sports to harness hidden talents among students attending the Govt. Schools.

Activities and sports programmes have to be arranged specifically for the students of Govt. school as most of the students are alien to the organized Football & Cricket Tournaments conducted at schools Levels.

These students should also have access to non traditional sports like Running, High Jump, Long Jump, Boxing, Weight Lifting, Wrestling and Archery for these students show potential of winning medals if trained by professional coaches.

We should have proper waste management system in place with the proper bifurcation and disposal units for Wet, Dry sanitary & Medical waste produced in the city. efforts should also be made to fight alternate uses of the Dirty Non Bio Degradable waste also we should have proper  units to convert the Wet waste into manure that can be used to fertilize  the trees lining the city.

There have to be proper marked areas in the city for recreational activities for children along with place to take walks for elderly.

Belagum should be connected with a Web of Ring Roads & Flyovers to counter the growing traffic problems of the city. We have to address the problem of Parking that’s lurking but will raise it’s head in coming days.

There should be proper network of Urinals & Toilets as they are the basic Right of every citizen. A visitor to a city should have proper access to basic Sanitation Facilities.

Proper Zones & areas of the city should be marked permissible to Hawkers & Roadside Vendors who visit the city to sell their wares and farm produce. This will de-centralize the already crowded market place and also reduce the problems for traffic movement cause due to unauthorized encroachments on roads.

Flea markets should be developed in various places to help small & individual producers looking to market their goods. This will help boost small & traditional industries like Pottery, Glassware, lather ware & handloom Industry.

There should a forum to showcase innovations, several anonymous inventions die during infancy or remain hidden from the world as the inventors of these do not have a platform to showcase these inventions to the world.

Belgaum beings the second capital of Karnataka state should command this platform to give new affordable inventions to the world.

Emphasis should be led on industrial growth specifically service industry like Call Centers & BPO as belgaum has a large no of colleges producing educated year with minimum job opportunities in the city. This has been the cause of the brain drain in the city.

Special consultancy and job fair should be organized inviting corporate to produce better opportunities for the youth.

APMC should be connected at national level to give farmers better opportunities in other markets and control hedging.

SERVICES IN LOCKDOWN- COVID 19 PANDEMIC

Leading by example and inspiring thousands in their path, a few good Indian Samaritans are winning hearts with their efforts. Rising above the pandemic constraints and helping others in need, today the real-life Covid Warriors are playing a pivotal role.

Vimal Foundations AMBULANCE service incorporated in 2014 to provide immediate  and speedy emergency services to all. This Ambulance was serving day and night in Pandemic Covid phase.

During the Covid phase our foundation realize the importance of slowing down the spread of COVID and providing a safe work environment. We started distributing Sanitization Bottles, Masks, Disposable Gloves which would eliminate the virus on the body and clothes.

During this Covid phase our team was engaged in helping Covid Warriors like Doctors, Medical Staff, Police Department, Local Administration, Muncipal Corporation, Safai Karmachari with Food packets, Water Cans, Sanitization Bottles, Disposable Masks & Gloves. which was very helpful to perform their duties.

Apart from this, we started going door to door to educate people about COVID-19 symptoms and why at this crucial juncture following the necessary guidelines such as lock-down and maintaining personal hygiene is necessary.

We realized many of them come from families of daily wage workers and had no income. Hence we raised money for their essential services, like Food, Water and Medicines.

We distributed on behalf of Vimal Foundation more than 10,000+ Food packets, essential food products. In this cause the Union Minister for State for Railways, Govt of India, Late Shri. Suresh Angadiji had supported us to reach maximum population.
