IKON Complete is proud to partner with the research team of Dr. Thomas Seyfried , a world-renowned scientist whose pioneering work focuses on metabolic health and the understanding of cancer as a metabolic disease. Dr. Seyfried’s groundbreaking research is reshaping how we view and approach the treatment of complex diseases by exploring how cellular energy metabolism impacts health and longevity.

As part of this mission, we are working with NuOnc (), a new health-tech startup dedicated to bringing these scientific insights to life through innovative digital solutions. NuOnc is a lab–backed cancer management app helping patients make nutrition and lifestyle changes to boost treatment effectiveness and reduce toxic side effects.

We are currently seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join this growing initiative. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is not only technically skilled but also deeply interested in metabolic health and cancer research and wants to contribute to work that could have a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare.

Position: Full-Stack Developer

Location: Remote – Open to candidates across USA & Canada
Type: Flexible – Pro Bono (Part-Time or Full-Time), or Equity-Based (CTO-Level consideration)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications for Nuonc’s health platform.
• Build and integrate APIs for seamless communication across services and devices.
• Manage databases and ensure secure, efficient handling of health-related data.
• Collaborate with researchers, designers, and product teams to translate complex requirements into user-friendly solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software solutions as the app scales.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, Supabase, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn-ui (or similar).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) an asset.
• Familiarity with mobile app development and/or health-related applications is a strong asset.
• Passion for metabolic health, cancer research, and contributing to solutions with real-world impact.
• Entrepreneurial mindset; openness to working in a dynamic startup environment.
