Job Summary

Provides administrative and operational support to our human resources department. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files, performance reviews, and training records
• Support the recruitment process by prescreening applicants, scheduling interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new hires
• Maintaining and updating employee trackers
• Maintaining I9 and health binders
• Coordinates pre-employment background checks for NPOs, subcontractors, and temps; maintains all training trackers for groups
• Facilitating orientation
• Assisting with the check-in process for events
• Coordinating building events
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, managers, and external vendors
• Understanding of HR policies, procedures, employment laws, and best practices
• Ensuring accuracy in all HR processes and documentation
• The ability to build rapport with employees and maintain positive working relationships
