Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller/Coder to join our team at our Ambulatory Surgical Center.

This is an in office position.

Key Responsibilities:

Coding/Billing

• Analyze medical records and clinical documentation to identify appropriate diagnoses, procedures, and treatments.
• Assign accurate codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing inquiries or issues.
• Calculate costs for cash pay patients.
• Work closely with our 3rd party biller.

Administrative & Compliance:

• Help with Medicare/Medicaid compliance and reporting
• Help with yearly credentialling of physicians

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in medical billing and coding prefered but not required. On the job training provided.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Must pass a background check

Other Duties:

Will help with other office duties as needed such as: checking in patients, taking payments, patient chart organization, and other office tasks.

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
