Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Learning and Competency Intern, you will be a key member of our HR Technology team, responsible for designing, coordinating and implementing training programs for our employees. Your role will be to create learning opportunities that promote the professional and personal development of everyone, while contributing to the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.

This is a one year internship located in Houston, TX. You will be expected to commit to time working during the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Program Update and Implementation: You will be responsible for updating and implementing early career training and development programs, including the Tech & Ops Program and the SETC Associate Program
  • Employee Support in Technology: You will provide valuable support to employees of technology centers with their development and training needs, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Global Collaboration: You will collaborate with global learning & competency teams in Europe, MENA, Asia and America to improve our training offering, sharing best practices and implementing innovative initiatives.
  • Organization and Monitoring of Programs: You will assist the Manager of Development and Technological Engagement in the organization and monitoring of the training offer, in particular the Tech Academy and the Digital Academy, to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
  • New Hire Management: You will establish and review contracts governing the Tech & Ops program for new hires within the Technology organization, ensuring that they benefit from successful onboarding and continuous development
  • Support for Engagement Initiatives: You will support employee engagement initiatives, such as the SPARK recognition program and Level-Up project reviews, collaborating with the Regional Development Manager to strengthen our culture of excellence.
  • Feedback Analysis: You will analyze trends in trainee feedback and program activity to inform improvements to training processes and enhance the overall learning experience.
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Legal right to work
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to maintain pace in a fast-demanding environment
  • Excellent command of the tools of the Office Pack
