The unplanned encroachment drive undertaken by the Belgaum city corporation has lead to a massive chaos among business owners in the city, during the drive the bsnl internet lines to these shops were also cut off hence hindering normal life of the people and the business of the city. We raised the matter with the concerned officials and they promised us that the encroachment drive will be conducted in a planned manner and also BSNL officials were kind enough to repair the internet lines at these places. The swiping machines have now started functioning and the life is bouncing back to normal.
