The ban on the PoP Ganesh Idol by Karnataka State Pollution Control Board is a very wrong move. When PoP made idol are immersed in the flowing water it does create pollution we agree and stand by the move, but in Belgaum City the idols are immersed in man made pond which are build only for this purpose. Hence I feel we should protest it and let the old ways be carried on for the city. We stand by the Mandals and Idol Makers on this front. A memorandum was submitted to the DC in this regard.
